Bappi Lahiri was born into a Bengali Brahmin family in Jalpaiguri who later have initially taken his music training from his parents and then on exploded his Talent all over the World with massive success. The ‘Disco King” has passed away aged 69 in a hospital in Mumbai. He is truly a self made man, a fabulous human being, a great father, a great son to to his parents and also a wonderful husband and a great Dad.
These achievements were huge. He have won several prestigious awards in his career Filmfare Award for Sharaabi, Golden Lotus Award ( Best film 1997 for Lal Darja), Sangeet Samrat Award, 150 Silver Jubilee and Golden Jubilee trophy for the films like Namak Halaal, Disco dancer, Sharaabi, Himmatwala, Toofan, Thanedaar etc.
His contribution o=in Indian Cinema was enormous. He have composed 5000 songs in over 500 Films, He gave his magical elegance to several actors to achieve their height of success. The entire film Industry is in mourning in grief.
