2,632 new COVID-19 cases reported in Ontario today

2,632 new COVID-19 cases and 46 deaths reported in Ontario today.

About 70,256 tests were done in Ontario in the last 24 hours.

Toronto reported 897 new cases, Peel 412 new cases, York Region 245 new cases, Ottawa 162 new cases and Waterloo 118 new cases.

According to Dr. Isaac Bogoch the 7 day average is going down as well as the number of new cases also going down and they are going in the right direction but still a lot need to be done.

He also mentioned the spike in cases in the number of cases during last few months was due to the holiday season.
