2408 new COVID-19 cases reported in Ontario today

2408 new COVID-19 cases reported in Ontario today. 41 deaths reported due to virus.

This number increased the 7 day average of daily infection to 2300 for the first time since the Covid-19 infection started.

At the moment there are total 19,424 active cases of COVID-19 in Ontario.

Toronto reported 629 new cases , Peel 448 new cases , Windsor-Essex 234 new cases , York Region 190 new cases , Hamilton 150 new cases and Durham 136 new cases.

Mayor John Tory requested people to avoid gathering indoors with people coming from other households.
