According to Toronto Mayor John Tory as COVID-19 cases and hospitalizations hit record levels, stricter lockdown discussed in GTA during holidays.

Mayor John Tory said he is discussing with Ford government and Mayors from the surrounding areas about increasing restrictions in lockstep after the 21st December the time when 28 days lockdown ends.
