Indian and Pakistani armies at the Line of Control (LoC) exchange sweets on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr in Kashmir on Thursday.
The festival of Eid-ul-Fitr renewed warmth and harmony along the LoC as old traditions are being revived between the two nations.
According to the Indian army meetings were held at the Tithwal crossing on Kishanganga River in Tangdhar Kupwara and the Kaman Aman Setu in Uri where sweets and pleasantries were exchanged with the Pakistani army.
This newly-achieved calm along the LoC is a result of the renewed ceasefire between both countries. The ceasefire brought warmth between the two neighbors which has been displayed on several occasions.
As per the Indian army, the sweets and pleasantries were exchanged following all the Covid-19 protocols by both sides.
