Charge sheet was filled against all 4 accused upper cast men by CBI (Central Bureau of Investigation) in the Hathras Case. The CBI therefore conformed that the victim was Dalit girl was allegedly gang raped and murdered by the accused.
A 19 year old Dalit (Lower Cast) girl was allegedly raped by the four in Hathras village in the state of Uttar Pradesh in India. She died during treatment in Delhi’s Safdarjung Hospital on 29th September.
The victim was forcefully cremated near her home on the night of 30th September her family accused the local police of locking them up and cremating the victim’s body without their wish. However the local police officer claimed that it was done with her family permission.
The CBI is investigating the role of all 4 accused named Luvkush, Sandeep, Ramu and Ravi.
The accused undergone lots of forensic tests.
The CBI team also met doctors at the hospital where the victim received treatment on 14th September.
The State Government under Yogi Adityanath faces lots of criticism so the case was handed over to the CBI.
