Two separate shootings incident on tow truck drivers on HWY. 401

Two separate shootings incident on tow truck drivers on Hwy. 401. Police is investigating on a possible link on Highway 401 in Toronto at night.

The first incident was reported at Highway 401 and Avenue Road where a tow truck parked on the side of the road was shot at by a a passing car.

There was no injury reported. A dark blue Mercedes without rear licence plate was heading westbound on the 401.

The second incident was reported about 6 km away from first incident near Highway 401 and Leslie Street. A dark-coloured sedan fired at a tow truck that was pulled over on the side of the road.

There was no injury reported at all on both the incident.

Police cannot yet confirm if the same suspect is responsible for both the incident.

Both the incident are being investigated by Toronto Police Service and Ontario Provincial Police.
