Joe Biden sworn in as 46th United States President. He said that democracy has prevailed.
He vowed to end uncivil war in a deeply divided country due to a battered economy and Covid-19 pandemic that has killed more than 400,000 people in the country.
Biden was sworn in at 11:49 a.m. ET and gave a 21-minute inaugural speech to call for unity and offer an optimistic message those American citizens can get through dark moments by working together.
It was a short ceremony due to and Covid-19 pandemic and security measures due to the Capitol riot that took place 2 weeks ago.
Biden called all American citizens to overcome divisions and also declared without unity, there is no peace.
