Actress Kangana Ranaut celebrated her birthday on Tuesday.
Kangana during a media interaction got very emotional and literally broke into tears while praising AL Vijay, who is the director of her upcoming political biopic ‘Thalaivi’ based on the life of the late ex-chief minister of Tamil Nadu J. Jayalalithaa.
While addressing the media on her birthday Kangana said, “Never in my life have I met a man who has not made me feel apologetic about my talent. I’m getting emotional, I’m not usually like that, but I want to say that he is one person, who has made me feel good about my talent.
Usually, the camaraderie they show with a male hero is never shown with an actress. But as a director, I learned from him how to treat actors and how to show creative partnership’.
Thalaivi will be released In 3 languages, Tamil, Hindi, and Telugu. The film also features actors like Arvind Swami, Prakash Raj, Bhagyashree, and Madhoo.
The film tells the story of J. Jayalalithaa and shows her life from her rise in the world of cinema as a great actress to becoming a powerful politician who ultimately ruled the state and served as Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu. Jayalalithaa was known as Amma meaning mother among her followers.
On Monday Kangana won her 4th National Award as Best Actress for her roles in Manikarnika and Panga.
Kangana will also be seen in upcoming films like Dhaakad and Tejas.
