Bollywood actor Bobby Deol has fond memories of his debut film “Barsaat” that was released in the year 1995. When he looks back at it he recalls how a casual accessory he wore in one of the songs in “Barsaat” became a fashion trend.
Bobby said, “Anything that is first is always special. The zeal one has while starting something new is unique. ‘Barsaat’ was my first movie and there are so many memories attached to the film.’
Bobby further said, “One of the things I remember, at that time I was fascinated with sunglasses and I had a blue pair, which was my favorite. I wanted to wear them in the song ‘Teri adaao pe marta hoon’. Back then, I didn’t know they would become so popular. The audience loved that look and it became a fashion trend.’
The actor said another thing that comes to his mind is during a horse-riding scene he had an accident and broke his legs but luckily for him it was the film’s last scene.
According to Bobby Deol there are many moments from the film Barsaat that he cherishes even today.
Barsaat was directed by Rajkumar Santoshi Bobby was cast opposite Twinkle Khanna, who also made her Bollywood debut with the film.
Barsaat failed to live up to its hype at the box office but its songs by Nadeem-Shravan were superhit.
‘Barsaat’ very soon premiere on Zee Bollywood.
