Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath tests Covid positive, self-isolates

Yogi Adityanath, the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh has tested positive for Covid.-19.

The CM in his tweet said that in view of the preliminary symptoms he isolated himself and got himself tested and was tested positive for Covid.-19.

On Tuesday the Chief Minister said he isolated himself because a number of officials in his secretariat tested positive for Covid-19.

He further said that he would remain in home isolation following his doctor’s advice. However he said that he would continue doing his work through virtual means.

Adityanath also advised those he had met in the past few days to get themselves tested.
