Top doctors in Toronto warns people to stay home for holidays as according to new poll some people might ignore advice even after the rising number of COVID-19 cases.
According to Toronto’s medical officer of health, Dr. Eileen de Villa the situation is bad and virus is aggressively spreading.
As per the Angus Reid Institute’s new poll finds 27% of Ontario’s resident plan to visit friends and family locally and about 8% resident have plan to visit people in another community or even out of province.
Premier Doug Ford said that people wanting to drive to their secondary residences and cottages for the holidays can do so and go to other cities and towns and they must take precautions.
