1676 new COVID-19 cases and about 800 people hospitalized in Ontario

Ontario reported less COVID-19 cases on Tuesday as there was high testing rate during the weekend.

In GTA new cases reported as 588 cases in Toronto, 349 in Peel Region and 141 in York Region.

Ontario reported 1,859 cases on Saturday, 1,924 cases on Sunday and 1,925 cases on Monday.

In past 24 hours Provincial labs processed 39,198 test specimens which is less as it tested about 59,000 per day during weekends.
