Record number of tests and COVID-19 cases today

Ontario reported a record number of tests and COVID-19 cases today. About 60,000 were processed in Ontario within 24 hours and 1983 new cases were reported today which more than the past record of 1925 cases reported on 7th December.

New cases reported today in GTA were 515 are in Peel Region, 496 are in Toronto, 208 in York Region, 55 in Durham Region, 51 in Halton Region and 75 in Hamilton.
