Two officers of the Narcotics Control Bureau have been reportedly suspended for allegedly helping comedian Bharti Singh and her husband Harsh Limbachiyaa to get bail reported NDTV.
According to the reports the suspended officers are suspected to have helped Bharti Singh and Harsh get bail. They are also suspected to have helped Deepika Padukone’s former manager Karishma Prakash get relief from arrest.
According to the reports of NDTV, no NCB officers were present in court during the hearing. The court reportedly granted bail without hearing NCB’s arguments. This has led to the probe agency challenging the bail granted to Singh and Limbachiyaa in the NDPS special court.
