A horrific case of gang rape and murder of a 50 year old woman reported in Ughaiti village in Badaun district in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh.
The gang rape and brutality similar to the ‘Nirbhaya’ case of Delhi.
The woman was an Anganwadi worker and said to be gang raped and murdered by a temple priest and his two aides.
The crime was so brutal that the woman’s Ribs & Leg were broken and a rod Inserted in pvt parts the case similar to Delhi’s Nirbhaya case.
The woman use to go to a local village temple which was like a Ashram. The accused Mahant Baba Satyanarayan (priest), his aide Vedram and his driver Jaspal said to have escaped leaving the woman bleeding who died later.
According to the victim’s family the police officer Ravendra Pratap Singh did not reached the spot even after the complaint.
Police have now registered a case and arrested two of the accused Vedram and Jaspal while the priest is still absconding. Police announced INR Rs 25.000 reward on absconding accused
The Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has asked ADG Bareilly to investigate and submit a report on the incident. Special Task Force has been set up to aid the investigation.
