The project for construction for Ayodhya mosque started on Republic Day. The project location is at Dhannipur village about 25km from Ram-janambhoomi in Ayodhya.
This project is launched exactly 6 months after the mosque construction trust (Indo-Islamic Cultural Foundation) was constituted following the2019 Supreme Court verdict that mandated construction of Ram Temple at Ram-janambhoomi and construction of a mosque in lieu of Babri Masjid.
Zufar Ahmed Farooqui the Mosque Trust chairman hoisted Indian Flag and 9 saplings were also planted by Mosque Trust members. Cheer and enthusiasm was seen in the Dhannipur village as this event was celebrated irrespective of religion.
The 5 acre land was allocated adjacent to a Sufi shrine that is a century old.
Keeping the secular image of the land 3 members of Hindu community donated for the mosque construction one of them being a member of RSS (Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh).
INR Rs 22,000 was donated by Professor RK Singh of Awadh University and his wife Dr Sunita Sengar, Rs 2100 was donated by Dr Anil Singh who is a member of RSS as well as the president of Ayodhya’s Muslim Rastriya Manch. Rohit Shrivastava from Lucknow University donated Rs21000 for the project last year.
It was said majority of Hindus will support the construction of mosque and Ram temple at Ram-janambhoomi is the best example of communal harmony in India.
The new mosque constructed at this site will be bigger than Babri Masjid is not look alike of the old structure.
There will be a hospital that will be constructed at the site that will service humanity in true spirit of Islam taught by Prophet Mohammed 1400 years ago.
