Alaska town will not see the sun for over two months

A town in Alaska has bid farewell to Sun for the following two months.

The sun rose and set in Utqiagvik, Alaska, some time ago known as Barrow, once and for all for on Thursday for a time of more than 60 days.

The small town found north of the Arctic Circle has entered its yearly period of dimness, known as polar night.

“Polar night” is an ordinary marvel that happens each colder time of year for Barrow (Utqiagvik), as well as some other towns inside the Arctic Circle,”.

The event happens each winter of year in view of the tilt of the Earth’s Axis.
