Air India adopts Amadeus solutions to power passenger service platform

Global Trip technology company Amadeus on Monday said that Air India, lately acquired by Tata Group, has espoused its full-mound results as part of the carrier’s revitalisation.

Air India is enforcing the full Amadeus’ Altea PSS’ suite, including factors ranging from profit operation, profit account, merchandising, and retailing, website, mobile and frequent leaflet programme operation.
The platform delivers ultramodern and effective reservations result to guests and trip mates.

The advanced system will also equip Air India with technology that will enhance its functional effectiveness, the company said in a statement.
” We’re espousing several slice-edge technology results to transfigure Air India’s client experience. Amadeus Altea PSS is the first of numerous similar enterprises to transfigure Air India,” said Nipun Aggarwal, Chief Commercial Officer, Air India.

Air India has a line of 117 aircraft, and in addition to a robust domestic network, the carrier occupies a unique transnational footmark ranging across topographies, including North America, Europe, and the Middle East.
” India is an important request for Amadeus and we’ve our second largest R&D centre located there. This will enable close invention with Air India. Our advanced technology results will give the structure blocks for Air India to deliver smooth gests for its passengers,” said Cyril Tetaz, Executive Vice President, Altea, Amadeus.

In 2019, Amadeus helped connect over1.9 a billion people to original trip providers in over 190 countries.
The Tata Group acquired Air India from the Indian government last time. The group formerly has Vistara and Air Asia under its pack.

In January 2022, the Centre handed over the operation control of public carrier Air India to an attachment of Tata Sons.
