Joe Biden has plans to run for re-election in 2024

In his first press conference on Thursday after taking office, US President Joe Biden said that he planned to run for re-election in 2024.

Biden who is 78 is the oldest US president while assuming office, said, “my plan is to run for re-election, that’s my expectation’.

This shows Biden’s intention but he made no solid promise. As Biden said later, “I said that’s my expectation”.

The US president also said if he does run again, he expects Vice President Kamala Harris to be his running for the Presidential elections.
