As per a UN report on Tuesday, 52,000 Palestinians took refuge at schools run by the UN Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) in the Gaza Strip.
At a press conference, the UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) said, that Israeli fighter jets destroyed, either totally or partially, 448 constructions in the Palestinian coastal enclave since 10th May.
As per Jens Laerke, a spokesman for OCHA, 132 buildings were completely destroyed and 316 partially destroyed which includes 6 hospitals and 9 healthcare centers.
The government press office in Gaza said that Israeli fighter jets carried out more than 1,615 airstrikes on the Gaza Strip in the 9 days. The Israeli fighter jets targeted homes, buildings, government establishments, and infrastructure.
AS per the Israeli military 60 fighter jets bombed underground tunnels belonging to Hamas in Gaza and fired 100 missiles early morning on Tuesday.
Hamas also fired 100 rockets at Israeli towns and cities but 70 of them were intercepted.
