A video of a Pakistani woman, Natasha Danish Ali, smiling and appearing unremorseful after allegedly causing a fatal car accident has sparked widespread outrage on social media. Natasha, the wife of prominent businessman Danish Iqbal, was driving a Toyota Land Cruiser on Karsaz Road in Karachi on August 19 when she attempted a turn and collided with multiple vehicles, including motorcycles and a parked car. The crash resulted in the tragic deaths of a father and daughter, while at least four others were injured and taken to nearby hospitals for treatment.
Despite the severity of the accident, Natasha was caught on camera smiling and showing no signs of remorse. In one clip, she can be heard boasting about her family’s influence, saying, “Tum mere baap ko nahi jantay (You don’t know who my father is).”
Natasha Danish Ali, 32, hails from Karachi, Pakistan, and is married to Danish Iqbal, a well-known businessman who serves as the Chairman of Gul Ahmed Energy Limited and its affiliated companies, as well as Metro Power Group. The couple resides in Karachi’s upscale KDA Scheme-I area.
Her lawyer has claimed that she is mentally “not stable,” is on medication for mental stress, and is not fully aware of her actions. Natasha is currently behind bars, having been placed on a 14-day judicial remand.
