Varun Gandhi & Maneka Gandhi were removed from BJP’s National Executive

Varun Gandhi and his mother Maneka Gandhi were dropped from the fresh list of the 80-member BJP national executive posted today 07th October 2021 amidst a commotion of tweets by the BJP MP, condemning the incidents in Lakhimpur Kheri UP.

The BJP brushed off the omission. But according to sources, it is a “routine exercise”.
Varun Gandhi is the only BJP minister to raise questions about the incident in which Ashish Mishra, the son of BJP’s junior home minister Ajay Mishra has been accused of murder. Ashish has not been questioned or arrested.

Varun Gandhi tweeted on Tuesday after a video went viral showing a black SUV plowing through a group of peaceful protesters from behind. 4 farmers got killed and another 4 died in the violence after the incident.

Varun in his tweet called it murder and said the video was enough to “shake the soul”.

Varun called for “accountability for the innocent blood of farmers”.
He posted on Twitter, “Protestors cannot be silenced through murder. There has to be accountability for the innocent blood of farmers that has been spilled and justice must be delivered before a message of arrogance and cruelty enters the minds of every farmer,”
