A 6.4 magnitude earthquake struck near the megacity of Antakya near the border with Syria, where massive shakes devastated both countries on 6 February.
The earlier shakes killed 44,000 people in Turkey and Syria with knockouts of thousands more left homeless.
structures weakened by those temblors collapsed in both countries on Monday.
Turkey’s disaster and exigency agency says the6.4 earthquake passed at 20:04 original time (17:04 GMT) at a depth of 10 km (6.2 miles).
This was followed by a 5.8 earthquake three twinkles latterly and 31 posterior foreshocks that weren’t as severe.
