Advocates and lawyers in US predict hastily taken clemency action by Donald Trump in coming weeks testing his limits of presidential pardon power.
He is considering a slew of pardons and commutations before he leaves his office. His presidential pardon power could be used for of his family, former aides and even himself.
Trump he has no doubts about intervening in the cases of friends and allies who according to him have been treated unfairly that also includes his former national security adviser Michael Flynn.
