The Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau hopes good news for families of 2 Canadians arbitrarily detained in China for over 2 years.
Trudeau said in a press interview about fate of 2 Canadians arbitrarily Michael Kovrig and Michael Spavor detained by China as Chinese officials have repeatedly linked to that of Huawei CFO Meng Wanzhou.
Trudeau said ‘yes’ when asked is their good news for their families before the New Year.
According to the Prime Minister his government is doing the best in this regard directly with China and well as with other allies.
Kovrig and Spavor were accused by China of endangering national security after Canadian authorities detained Meng Wanzhou.
