TikTok adds more feature to parents control on their kids accounts

TikTok has recently updated its parental control feature today giving parents more options over their kids account making it more private and secure.

Parents will now be able to restrict who can comment on their kids videos or who can view their account, also who can see what videos they’ve liked. This allows parents to limit an account so that only their child’s friends can see what they’ve been up to. 

Parents will now be able to stop their kids from searching for videos, users, hashtags, or sounds, which could make it harder for them to find certain content on the app. 

The options are all part of TikTok’s Family Pairing feature. The tool lets parents connect to their kid’s account and then set limits on it.

However, TikTok also allows teen to disable the feature at any time, although parents will get notified when that happens
