There could be COVID-19 lockdown coming to Toronto, Peel and York as Ontario reports 1,417 new cases

New COVID-19 limitations are probably going to be actualized not long from now in three Ontario locales reliably observing the most new cases, Premier Doug Ford said Wednesday.

At his day by day news meeting, Ford called the numbers in Toronto and its distant Peel and York locales “very, incredibly concerning” and said every one of the three are “gazing intently at the barrel of another lockdown.”

Passage added that his bureau will talk about new general wellbeing measures for them in coming days that could be declared on Friday.

“We need to accomplish something,” he said.

Ontario revealed an extra 1,417 instances of COVID-19 early Wednesday, and 32 additional passings connected to the ailment — the most on any single day during the second flood of the pandemic which is at present holding portions of the region.

The new cases incorporate 410 in Toronto, 463 in Peel Region and 178 in York Region.
