Sachin Tendulkar, Akshay Kumar, other tweets will be probed

As per the Maharashtra Home Minister Anil Deshmukh he ordered a probe into Twists made by celebrities like Sachin Tendulkar, Akshay Kumar, Lata Mangeshkar, and many others, on farmers’ protest.

It was noted that after international pop sensation Rihanna’s post on the on-going farmer agitation in India many cricket personalities and Bollywood celebrities joined the ‘India together’ drive-by leading the call for unity against alleged foreign “propaganda”.

The Congress registered a complaint with Maharashtra Home Minister.

As per the complaint the celebrities had coordinated as the tweets are similar and were posted around the same time and this is why needed to probe this.

After Rihanna tweeted on the farmers’ issue it was followed by a series of tweets from celebrities like Sachin Tendulkar, Virat Kolhli, Lata Mangeshkar and many other celebrities had responded to counter Rihanna.

According to the complaint if tweet is personal be it a celebrity its opinion of their own and it is fine but similar words like ‘amicable’ have been used in all the tweets. Indicates that BJP (Ruling party Indian government)

The home minister said National Heroes should be protected if BJP is intimidating them.
