Last time Australia lost in Brisbane was in November 1988 losing to West Indies by 9 wickets the team that had great Viv Richards.

India wins 4 match Test series 2-1 after winning this 4th Test to retain Border-Gavaskar Trophy.

The Final scores of the 4th Test Australia 369&294 and India 336 & 329/7, India winning the 4th Test by 3 wickets.
