Kisaan rallies were organised to show solidarity with Indian Farmers. The protest took place in Toronto, San Fransisco, London and Melbourne on Sunday.
These protests were done less than 72 hours before a crucial meeting between farmers and Indian government in New Delhi on Wednesday.
Hundreds of people demonstrated outside Indian Consulate in Toronto, a rally was organized from Oakland to the Indian Consulate in San Fransisco, British Sikhs protested outside Indian High Commission in London and a kisaan rally was organized from Indian Consulate to Parliament House in Melbourne.
Farmers union in India have called for a ‘Bharat Bandh’ on 8th December if the New Farm Bill is not withdrawn.
