US President Joe Biden on Sunday called the army violence in Myanmar “absolutely outrageous” and added that the US was working on reacting with sanctions.
The situation in Myanmar is terrible after the military coup on February 1 there has been a daily protest.
When Biden was asked Washington would respond with sanctions the US President said “we are working on that now”.
Saturday – which marked Armed Forces Day in Myanmar was the bloodiest day of violence so far when 114 people died.
