France imposes a mandatory quarantine on many countries

The French government announced on Sunday that it’s going to tighten entry restrictions from Brazil, Argentina, South Africa, and Chile because they are concern about the new variants of the coronavirus.

The people entering from these countries have to go under compulsory quarantine from next week.

These measures will also apply to air travelers from French Guiana, its own overseas territory.

Further, the travelers have to show proof of his Covid-19 negative report not older than 36 hours.

France also extended the time for suspension of all flights to Brazil, which was imposed last week.

This measure was ordered because the Brazilian variant known as P1 is blamed for a sharp rise in coronavirus deaths in Brazil in March.

France has been hit badly by coronavirus pandemic as France has a population of 67 million, 100,563 people have died due to Covid-19, and a total of 5,321,176 people were infected.
