Donald Trump will not attend Joe Biden’s inauguration

President Donald Trump said he will not attend Joe Biden’s inauguration 20th January 2021.

Trump will be first incumbent president after Andrew Johnson not to attend his successor President’s swearing-in ceremony.

According to the tradition outgoing and incoming Presidents ride to the U.S. Capitol together for the swearing-in ceremony which signifies nation’s peaceful transition.

Former President George W. and Laura Bush as well as Former President Barack Obama and his wife, Michelle Obama will attend the swearing-in ceremony.

Trump’s decision to skip the swearing-in ceremony came two days after Trump’s supports stormed the US Capitol on Wednesday.
