Cyclist dies after being hit by two cars

A woman cyclist killed after being hit by two vehicles on Wednesday evening near Dufferin Mall.

Just before 6:30 p.m. emergency crews were called in the area Dufferin Street and Sylvan Avenue, that is south of Bloor Street West,

As per the police a woman cyclist in her 20s was traveling south on Dufferin Street was clipped by a vehicle, and subsequently ended up in northbound traffic was struck by a northbound vehicle.

She was pronounced dead despite life-saving measures.

Both drivers remained on the scene and the matter is under investigation by Members of the Traffic Services Unit.
