COVID-19 death toll surpassed 5,000 in Ontario as well as Ontario sets a record for the number of people hospitalized due to COVID-19.

Ontario’s Provincial health officials reported 3,338 new Covid-19 cases today as well as 29 more deaths due to COVID-19.

Total death toll 5,012 in Ontario.

Toronto reported 931 new cases, Peel 531 new cases, York Region 241 new cases, Niagara Region 168 new cases and Niagara Region 165 new cases.
