2,664 new cases of COVID-19 cases reported in Ontario today

2,664 new cases of COVID-19 cases and 87 more deaths reported in Ontario today. These numbers indicate that community transmission is slowing down as well as active cases and hospitalizations continue to decline.

The positivity rate 3.3% which is lowest in over a month.

72,000 tests were processed in last 24 hours.

Toronto reported 779 new cases. Peel reported 542 cases, York Region reported 228 new cases, Waterloo reported 128 new cases and Windsor-Essex County 118 new cases.
