China start using Anal Swabs to Test Covid-19

China stats Anal Swabs to Test Covid-19 as it can be more effective in detecting the Covid-19 virus.

Many cities in northern China sealed off from others parts of China due to local outbreak of virus which prompted Chinese administration to conduct mass testing campaigns.

Anal swabs method can increase the detection rate as trace of Covid-19 virus linger longer in the anus than in the respiratory tract.

This was conformed Li Tongzeng a senior doctor from You’an Hospital in Beijing.

However anal swabs would not be a widely used method as it is considered inconvenient.
