Canada to test its emergency public alert system today

Many people all over Canada can expect an interruption today because of an emergency public alert that will be broadcast on television, radio and sent to mobile devices as part of a nationwide test of the system.

All provinces and territories, except Nunavut, will get the alerts, but people will not be required to take action as said by the Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission.

It will depend on the province or territory when will the test will be done
