Boris Johnson, UK’s PM to be Chief Guest at India’s Republic Day celebrations

Boris Johnson, UK’s PM accepted PM Modi’s invitation to be Chief Guest at Republic Day celebrations.

This is the 2nd time a UK Prime Minister will be Chief Guest at Republic Day after John Major in 1993.

India’s Republic Day will be celebrated on 26th January 2021 and it is his first bilateral after becoming the Prime Minister to try and strengthen trade and investment ties and India and UK will work together to tackle problem of climate change.
