Afghan Man: Men Who Fell From Plane “Found Dead On his Terrace”

An Afghan man named Wali Salek is a 49-year-old security guard, was at his home with his family in Kabul on Monday when he heard a loud sound from the roof.
He said it sounded like a truck tyre exploded. He went to his terrace and found 2 dead bodies.

His wife and daughter fainted after seeing the dead bodies.
His neighbors who watched on the TV informed him that 2 men were seen falling from a plane in a video that went viral after the Taliban took over Kabul.

The 2 men were among the hundreds who were desperate to go out of Afghanistan after the Taliban take over and were at Kabul Airport and clung to the wheels of a US Air Force aircraft. But moments, after the plane took off their bodies, fell on Wali Salek’s house which is about 4 km away from the Kabul Airport.

Due to this a part of Salek’s terrace was damaged and the stomach and heads of the dead bodies had split open.

Wali covered the bodies with a shawl and scarf and took the bodies to the mosque.
Salek told about the incident through a video call to his relatives in Delhi, India.

According to a Birth Certificate found in the pocket of a dead body, the man who died was named Safiullah Hotak, who was a doctor and another man who died was named Fida Mohammad.

Both the men were below 30 years of age.
