More than 59 people were killed in Afghanistan due to insurgent activities and clashes in the past 24 hours.
This was informed by a local independent war monitoring group on Wednesday.
The group said “Within the last 24 hours, our team has documented 59 deaths, including 8 civilians, 9 Afghan National Defense and Security Forces members, and 42 Taliban militants.
They also added 30 civilians, 38 Taliban militants, and 7 security forces members wounded also got injured in the last 24 hours.
These casualties were reported in fifteen incidents of violence that took place in 7 of Afghanistan’s 34 provinces.
