2 person was arrested in connection with the gang rape of a 24-year-old bar employee from Gurugram.
The 24-year-old bar employee was returning home after a late-night shift, was kidnapped after she took a lift later gang-raped by 5 people.
As per police, 3 accused gave her a lift from Mehrauli-Gurugram (MG) Road and took the victim to Jhajjar district which is about 50km away from Gurugram where they were joined by two other accused and all 5 allegedly took turns to rape her.
The girl was allegedly held captive and raped till morning. The accused later threw her out of the car somewhere in Farukhnagar (Haryana) and drove away in their car. She called for help as was rescued by the police at about 6.35 a.m. on Monday.
The victim lives in Delhi and works in a Gurugram bar.
The arrested accused was identified as Manoj, the cab driver, and Rajesh. Rajesh is from Basai while Manoj is a resident of Patoda village in Jhajjar, Haryana. Police are conducting raids to arrest others.
The Cab driver and his friends visited the same pub where the victim worked and got out almost at the same time. The victim was waiting for a cab when she was offered a lift by the accused.
The victim was promised a lift to Dwarka more and when she asked about the other two men she was informed that they would get down at IFFCO Chowk but instead of taking her to Delhi the men kidnapped her and took her to Jhajjar.
