At least 32 and many injured in Baghdad after 2 suicide bombings in busy market area in Iraq’s capital.
The suicide bomber attacked in central Baghdad in Bab al-Sharqi commercial area.
The markets floor was full of blood, piles of clothes and shoes.
No group took the responsibility for the attack but according to Iraqi military it is done by Islamic State group.
According to Hassan Mohammed al-Tamimi Iraq’s health minister at least 32 people killed and 110 people were injured. Some of the injured are in serious condition.
The spokesman for the Joint Operations Command Maj. Gen. Tahsin al-Khafaji said it is a terrorist act done by sleeper cell of the Islamic State.
The incident occurred after Government of Iraq agreed to hold early elections in October.
Iraq is also going through major economic crisis due to low oil prices.
