348 new COVID-19 cases reported in Ontario today

348 new COVID-19 cases and 4 new virus-related deaths were reported in Ontario today Tuesday the 17th August 2021.

67% of the new case reported today is unvaccinated people, 11% are partially vaccinated people and 22% are vaccinated, people.

17,408 Covid-19 tests were processed in the previous period and 2.6% is the positivity rate.

Number of new cases reported today in GTA as per region:

Toronto = 85

Peel Region = 45

York Region = 32

Durham = 19

Halton Region = 21

Hamilton = 34
