Government said the ball is in your Court to protesting farmers

The Central Government of India and Indian Farmers had 11th meeting to discuss the 3 controversial farm laws.

The Government offered farmers to pause the farm law for 1.5 years and form a committee to negotiate the law. However the farmers refused to accept the proposal given by the Central Government.

The Agriculture Minister Narendra Singh Tomar was sad with the outcome of the meeting and said that the said ‘the ball is in your Court’ to farmers.

According to Mr Tomar the talks was inconclusive as he requested farmers to reconsider Government’s proposal in the interest of country and farmers but farmers refused.

Mr Tomar also said that farmers was asked to give their own proposal if it is better than the government.

The 11th meeting for only for 15 – 20 minutes, no further date was set for a meeting.

Darshan Pal a farmer leader said that farmers will not agree to anything other than repeal of the laws.
