650 new Covid-19 cases reported in Ontario today

650 new Covid-19 cases and 2 new virus-related deaths were reported in Ontario today.

It is the highest number of new cases reported in any single 24-hour period since 6th June.

The total numbers of new Covid-19 cases were reported after 28,000 individuals test and generating a positivity rate of 2.4%.

Number of new Covid-19 cases reported in Ontario as per region:

Toronto = 136

Peel Region = 113

York Region = 63

Hamilton =55

Durham Region = 25

Halton Region =19

Windsor-Essex = 58

Middlesex-London = 39
