According to Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) all-rounder Andre Russell, he supports team owner and Bollywood star Shah Rukh Khan’s tweet apologizing to fans of the KKR’s defeat to Mumbai Indians (MI) but the KKR team is still confident and will learn from the loss.
After KKR’s 10 run defeat to Mumbai Indians (MI) despite being in a dominant position the team owner Shah Rukh Khan said in his tweet, “Disappointing performance. To say the least @KKRiders apologies to all the fans”.
Ressle took 5 wickets that helped KKR dismiss MI for 153 and KKR were cruising for much of the chase collapsed after 72-run opening partnership still Mumbai Indians (MI) were able to restrict KKR to 142/7.
Russell said after the match,” Yeah, I support that (Shah Rukh Khan) tweet but at the end of the day the game of cricket. – you are not sure until it’s over”.
The (KKR) all-rounder further said, “We are still confident and playing some good cricket and I am proud of the boys.
We are definitely disappointed but it’s not the end of the road. It’s our second game and we will definitely learn from it”.
