Ram is India’s identity, says UP CM Yogi Adityanath

While addressing an election rally at Hojai in the state of Assam on Wednesday, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said in his speech that Lord Ram represents India’s culture, identity, civilization, foundation, and etiquette, without Ram the country will not function.

The UP CM said that since Ram is the symbol of the country, people of all ages are chanting ‘Jai Shri Ram’ with love and respect.

Yogi in his speech also accused Congress Party of indulging in appeasement politics as successive governments led by Congress did nothing for the development and progress of the north-eastern region of India.

He further said for the development of north-eastern India PM Prime Minister Narendra Modi scrapped the ‘Look East Policy’ and instead implemented the ‘Act East Policy’.

He also said Modi Government repealing Article 370 uprooted terrorism in Jammu and Kashmir. Before the abolition of Article 370, people from Assam or any other Indian State were not allowed to purchase land in Jammu and Kashmir.
