Tiger Woods seriously injured in SUV crash in California

Tiger Woods, the golf superstar was seriously injured Tuesday when his SUV rolled over and ended up on its side in suburban Los Angeles.

According to his agent he is undergoing leg surgery.

The accident took place shortly before 7:15 a.m. and he was alone in the SUV.

The cause of the accident is still unknown.

A photo taken from an helicopter shows the SUV turned on one side and front side badly damaged.

The 45 year old golf superstar was taken to the hospital by ambulance.

The accident happened about 32 KM ( 20 Miles) south of downtown Los Angeles on the border of Rolling Hills Estates and Rancho Palos Verdes.
